With Mayor Strickland’s “Safer At Home” executive order in place, All Saints will be suspending in-person worship services at the Young Life Center until further notice.
During this time, we will continue to stream worship services on Facebook Live on Sunday mornings at 10:30am on the All Saints Facebook Page. This includes Easter Sunday service on Sunday, April 12th. If you need instruction on how to access this, please text me at the number below.
Also, I will be live streaming a shorter Maundy Thursday Scripture reading at 6PM on Thursday, April 9th. Again, all live streaming will be available on Facebook live.
A word on Facebook Live or any other streaming platform: None of these platforms are infallible. Even with the wealth of technology at our fingertips, videos can be glitchy, internet connections can go down and human error is a constant variable. Please be patient with us and the technology. We are very thankful for it, but cannot depend on it to be a complete substitute for in-the-flesh human connection. Grace and patience during this time and for all our daily activities is our calling.
Should you need assistance from either an elder or a deacon during this time, please let us know. You can text or call me, and we will do what we are able to assist.
Finally, please pray for your brothers and sisters at All Saints. We are praying for you. We miss you and await the day when we are together again, face to face. Until that day, let us be reminded of God’s already accomplished promises through Jesus on our behalf:
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.Romans 8:15-17
Grace upon grace,
